No visit to Sonoma is complete without a visit to Ravenswood Winery. No reservations are required to enjoy our decidedly non-wimpy wines in our tasting room. In fact, we specifically request you leave your reservations at home.
At Ravenswood, there's no pinkie raising, brie eating, wine spitting wimpiness.
Oh no. At the home of No Wimpy Wines, you'll get to taste mind
blowing zinfandel, witty conversation with our behind-the-bar staff and, if you
so choose, private or group tours of Zinfomania Central (the winery) and a blending
seminar, where you'll learn how to make your own No Wimpy Wine.
And of course we have a gift shop, the perfect place to pick up a present for someone back home who isn't as lucky as you are to be at Ravenswood. Stocked with shirts, blankets, blinking buttons, caps, aprons, bicycle jerseys, license plate holders, coffee cups, and wine glasses all inscribed with the famous Ravenswood logo, you're sure to find something that will make your suitcase hard to zip for the trip home.
On any given day, a great selection of wines will be open behind our tasting bar, spanning the range of Ravenswood offerings, including Winery Only wines. But concentrating on — duh! — Zinfandel.
For those who want to get up close and personal, tours begin at 10:30 a.m. every day.
Stroll through our estate vineyard to examine the vines up close, then return to the cellar to sample
wines straight from the barrel and taste current releases.
Don't like strangers? We can arrange a private tour for you and your group.

Both Tastings include the Logo Glass.
The classic California "field blend" consists of Zinfandel, Petite Sirah and Carignane combined in percentages determined by the winemaker for that vintage. What if it were up to you? You can try your hand at blending these three wines in the proportion your palate prefers — then take home a 375-ml bottle of the results to amaze (and hopefully impress) your friends. Blending Seminar is for 6 persons minimum - Reservations Required.
